aldiara about Deniz's shirt. Of course they turned to angst in my head. ETA: OMGsquee!
aldiara wrote a companion ficlet for this: Laid Bare. Read it, it's just lovely!!
It shouldn't be here.
It couldn't be here.
But there it was, tucked into the folds of the couch, like a patch of morning sky had gotten trapped inside. He tugged it free, his breath catching as the crumpled shirt joyously unfurled across his thigh. There was no doubt what it was, but he had no idea how long it'd been hiding there.
Had Deniz ever felt so comfortable with Roman that he could just casually leave clothes there? Had he ever been so sure of seeing Deniz again that he wouldn't notice him leaving something behind?
Roman couldn't remember.

That's beautiful. I love it when seemingly impossible attributes like emotions are given to inanimate objects and they work.
And the musing about whether or not they'd ever been in a situation where something like this could happen was achy and heart-tuggy and augh. Roman! :(
You, my lovely, have been extremely prolific lately! I think I'm just going to blame the fact that you write the better character *covets Roman and your perfect insight into him* Meanwhile, I'm stumbling about in the dark and terrifying murk that is the Mind of Deniz and I'm afraid I'll never get out again, let alone get a piece of reasonable fic out of it, lol.

Clearly we need to exchange cracky comments about mundane items all the time...
Clearly we do! That's apparently the only thing that get my creative juices flowing. If you'd care to chime in about Harry or Draco so I can finish those drabbles too, I'd be mighty grateful.
I'm blushing that you think I have insights into Roman. I think his violent mood swings just align well with mine. But I agree, Deniz is a lot harder. *drops breadcrumbs you can follow back out when you're lost in there*

I'm sure Deniz just doesn't think at all, but it's so Roman for the left shirt to mean something.
Poor Roman. :/ *snuggles him*

And then going off and being really bitchy.*snuggles him too*
