Notes: Twenty years before the fellowship, Thorongil comes to Minas Tirith to claim the throne of Gondor and encounters the sons of the Steward. This was written for JuxianTang, who wanted whips for her birthday – daudz laimes dzimsanas diena! Somewhere along the way it transformed into a twisted Boromir coming of age story. With some gratuitous FaraBoro sex thrown in for good measure. Thanks to my wonderful betas Alex Cat and Julie-Rae for their time, great advice, and support. Notes: This ficlet is based on Peter Jackson’s Faramir, not Tolkien’s. I understand the rationale for the scriptwriters’ changes, but I was never quite convinced that Faramir would have such a complete change of heart. This answers some of my questions.     An intriguing plot bunny at LoM challenged [insanejournal.com profile] minxkat and me to take Faramir on the quest, have him captured in Moria, and then taken to Lórien to be healed. This is the result. Starring Faramir, Haldir, Aragorn, Gríma Wormtongue, and various orcs. NC-17 for graphic slash and abuse, rape, and torture.

  • Dark Dreams
    Minx wanted to know what happened to Faramir when the fellowship arrived in Edoras and he was forced to confront Gríma and his personal demons. He finds that healing is a slow process. Starring Faramir, Aragorn, and Gríma. Rated R.

  • Long Goodbyes
    As the Third Age draws to a close, the Galadhrim depart for Valinor, much to Faramir's dismay. Starring Faramir, Haldir, and Aragorn. Rated NC-17 for slash. Very angsty, very AU *waves to Boromir!*

Notes: This was my first fanfic. It was inspired by Minx Kat’s The King and the Ranger and pairs my two favourites, Faramir and Aragorn. (You don't have to read Minx's story to understand this one, but you really should, it's lovely.) This story is set in autumn about three years after ROTK. King Elessar is tired out from all his kingly duties in Minas Tirith and goes to Ithilien for a little R&R.
