Harry knew it would happen someday.
He'd tried for years to deny these desires. Unnatural, Uncle Vernon would have called them, perverted. But they refused to fade; in fact, as he caught himself ogling the broad shoulders of a new Auror recruit, he knew they were growing stronger. He suppressed them, for years squeezing them into that hollow space in his chest, but it didn't help. Gradually that space transformed into a vacuum, ravenous with want. Ginny knew, he could see it in her guarded looks and distrustful glares, but he had done nothing. He wouldn't. He couldn't.
But someday.
*****
Harry knew it would happen someday, but he never expected it to be the day he sent his boys off to Hogwarts. But then his rival stepped out of his past, and that vacuum roared to be filled.
When the train pulled away, Malfoy wandered over to exchange words with a young wizard. Harry's breath caught when the man followed Malfoy into the gent's.
The stranger was fastening his trousers by the time Harry dared follow, but Malfoy was still on his knees. His familiar sneer glistened with a pearly sheen he didn't bother wiping away.
"Coming, Potter?"
Someday.

My poor Harry, but I love this. The need is so palpable and I just feel so badly for him spending all those years denying who he is.
Gradually that space transformed into a vacuum, ravenous with want. I love this and the end with Malfoy on his knees. His familiar sneer glistened with a pearly sheen he didn't bother wiping away. So vivid and unapologetically Draco.

And of course he's unapologetic. When has a Malfoy ever done anything he needs to apologise for? Other than Narcissa's dress sense, of course.
I'm so glad that you liked it!

It all makes sense now!
BTW, thank you for letting me play in your little mini-verse here. It really doesn't do this drabble justice, but I couldn't get the idea out of my head.

I adore the rhythm of this, the want almost sounded like a drumbeat...delicious.
