Bellatrix' proclamation came during a rare break in her lesson. She was practicing Cruciatus on a colony of grubs she'd discovered under a log. The curse engorged their pale bodies, puffy marshmallows swelling just before they split apart in a flame.

The little girl's eyes welled with tears. "I am so!"

"Bellatrix, stop it." Andromeda glared at her big sister, who shrugged and returned to her studies. "Don't listen to her, Cissy. It doesn't matter if you're not named after the stars." Andromeda pulled the little girl close. "You'll always be my sister."
