I did pretty much the same thing with, well, with both Roman and Deniz at first. I looked at a few pics and fanvids at Johnny's insistence, and I don't know if it was timing or what, but I thought DG sounded really cool and all but I wasn't enthralled. And then she did another VL post, and I asked, "but what about those other guys?" And she linked me to AAS and I felt like I'd been hit by a truck!
It's actually taken a lot longer to warm to Deniz, to tell you the truth. You and Shelly writing him has helped there *immensely*!
