Thank you! I'm glad to hear that a real fan of the movie (as I am) enjoyed it so much. I got the idea while rewatching it and admiring all of Maggie's devious plots and thinking, "She must be a Slytherin..." From there, it just took on a life of its own.

And I'm so happy that you liked the Lassie story. I worked out several versions of that before I was happy with it. In the movie they have that shared context and can kinda work in shorthand, but it was a bit trickier getting it to make sense in the HP world. Apparently it worked if you were cackling in the library!
