THANK YOU!! I was so nervous about this, especially since I had just posted it when I saw Aldi's explanation. And Andrew was an ass, at least I got that without the translation. (Shows what good acting will do, doesn't it?) But I'm glad that you think it works. At least in this different setting -- I agree they would be *horribly* dysfunctional in an LTR.

Thank you so much for the awesome comment -- I love hearing that you liked that description about his German. I spent so much time trying to figure out how to describe it because it's just off to my ear, but I don't know enough about how it *should* sound to be sure. I guess it worked, yay!
